GenTune is CCR registered as a small business and is pursuing government engine/generator service and repair work as either a sole source or as a subcontractor to another vendor.

GenTune can pursue service opportunities from any segment of the custom engine market. It doesn’t matter if you have a mechanical or electrical problem, or the application is industrial, generator set or marine. Pete Hodges has experience in all of these areas including controls and power switching systems and is EGSA Certified. Frank Claywell has experience in all engines and engine systems, including fuel injection repair. GenTune can help by diagnosing your problems and recommending the best course of action for your unique site requirements, even if you need services or expertise that GenTune cannot provide directly. GenTune has close working relationships with other companies that help both expand its capabilities and improve its competitiveness.

GenTune now has a 3/4-ton service truck that is 77" tall and rated under 10,000 GVW. It is a capable service truck designed to get inside of a parking garage. It is equipped with a trailer hitch, a 12 KW 120/240 VAC generator and a crane rated 2200 lbs at 3 feet from the truck. It can lift a 400 lb load 14 ft away from the truck, a 600 lb load at 10 ft, or a 1200 lb load at 5 ft and has 45 ft of cable. It has compressed air and a welder, and GenTune can fabricate equipment on site from the truck.

Within Virginia GenTune can also provide the additional services of a 2-ton service truck with a GVW of 25,800 lbs. It is equipped with a 30 ft boom crane rated 15,000 lbs at 3 feet that can lift 1500 lbs 30 feet away from the truck. It also has compressed air and a complete professional welding outfit and a fabricator that can modify or fabricate anything you can think of.  GenTune also has access to a truck shop in Culpeper, VA that can lift trucks of 60,000 lbs. and can service, repair, or modify them as per your request. Some of these sites are very large, like data centers with 10-2000kw generators and 22 paralleling locations! Hourly Rates: $84 straight time, $126 overtime and weekends. A fuel sir-charge may apply.
